A COMEDY night to raise money for Christies Hospital will take place at The Lowry in Salford Quays on Sunday (July 5).
All the acts are performing free of charge to help raise as much money as possible for this good cause.
Host for the evening will be Justin Moorhouse, star of Channel 4’s Phoenix Nights.
Justin will be introducing an award winning line-up which includes:
Barbara Nice – Already a familiar face on TV with appearances on That Peter Kay Thing and Coronation Street, Barbara has supported Johnny Vegas and Peter Kay.
John Warburton – City Life Comedian Of The Year 2004 and former breakfast DJ on 96.2 The Revolution, most recently seen on Coronation Street, as Barry Sidwell.
Daliso Chaponda – Best Newcomer Nominee, Montreal Just For Laughs Festival 2006.
Phil Buckley – One of the original team captains on Channel M’s quiz show The Basement and stand-up act on Gee Time (ITV).
Gary Morris and Andrew Willson from Slaughter House Live – a character-cabaret team based at the Comedy Store, Manchester.
