A LUNCHTIME concert featuring some of the brightest young musicians around will be at St Mary’s Church, Nantwich, tomorrow (Thursday).
American violinist Laura Johnson visits from Lakewood, California, to perform alongside trumpet player Simon Bate, who is studying at Cambridge University.
Also appearing will be mezzo-soprano Ruth Shannon, accompanied by John Gough.
The concert is part of the People to People Association of Chester, offering scholarships to enable young musicians from the USA and Chester to perform abroad as part of an exchange programme.
The concert starts at 12.30pm and is free, with a retiring collection.
