TOP celebrity impersonator Jan Ravens visits The Lowry in Salford Quays on Friday with her national tour A Funny Look at Impressions.
Best known for impersonating countless celebrities and public figures in Dead Ringers on both Radio 4 and BBC2, she also recently stepped out on Strictly Come Dancing, and won Celebrity Mastermind last year.
Outside her work, Ravens is a patron of Changing Faces, a charity that supports people with facial disfigurements, and is also an ambassador for Action Aid.
Now she makes her solo stage debut showing how she creates her remarkable impressions, with an insightful look at the world of funny voices and silly wigs.
Many of her best-loved characters will be making appearances along the way – from Anne Robinson and Nigella Lawson to Ann Widdecombe and the Queen, plus of course her unforgettable takes on Fiona Bruce and Kirsty Wark.
A tour spokesman says: “No woman in the public eye can hide from Ravens' unique brand of satirical comedy.”
The shows starts at 8pm. Tickets are £14, phone the box office on 0870 787 5780 or visit www.thelowry.com.
