A NESTON girl had a fun time with a feathered friend on Saturday as part of her competition-winning experience.
Angel Rose Parkinson, seven, won the chance to have an hour’s special tuition with master falconer Daniel Hargreaves via a competition on the Camelot Facebook page.
Angel was among 10 children aged five-15 who experienced the thrill of working with falcons, hawks and owls which form Camelot attraction, King Arthur’s Birds of Prey.
Falconry expert Daniel Hargreaves said: “The children got to handle the birds at close quarters as we put them through the sort of flying routines we have devised for visitors to Camelot this season.
“It was a thrilling experience for all involved.”
