Students from First Footers Dance in Ellesmere Port scoop prize at Street Dance championships

STUDENTS from an Ellesmere Port dance group were award winners at a national street dance competition held in Liverpool.

Ten girls aged 15-18 of First Footers Dance came first in the group section thanks to their impressive performance of Push Up On Me at John Moores University (JMU).

The Street Dance University Championships was run by JMU and Street Dance International.

Dancers from universities and schools throughout the country competed at the event.

First Footers was set up by Gail Rowe shortly after she was appointed Dance Specialist at Cheshire Oaks High School in 2004.
