Goalpost theft shocks primary school

A PRIMARY school is appealing for the return of their goalposts, stolen by thieves.

They sneaked into the playground of The Oaks in Rochester Drive, Ellesmere Port, on Thursday evening to take the play equipment. Nothing else was stolen or damaged.

A school spokeswoman said: “They were used every day by our pupils, we can’t understand why anyone would take them.

“Someone must know something. Please can the posts be returned to the school or the police.”
