A BUSINESS seminar at West Cheshire College has been hailed as a ‘great success’.
The event, hosted by chartered accountants Johnstone Howell & Co, saw Ellesmere Port business representatives come together at the college’s new conference centre to enjoy a series of short presentations, including talks from HSBC and Sage Software.
Johnstone Howell & Co partner Elaine Crozier said: “The event was a great success. Our aim was to inform local businesses of the upcoming changes in HR.
“We didn’t anticipate the response during and after the event itself. We are still receiving some great feedback.
“On the day of the seminar, it was announced that Vauxhall Motors had secured the future production of the new Astra and we are proud to be a part of the Ellesmere Port business community. We are now sure that the town itself will continue to survive and thrive.”
Lesley Shannon, conference and events assistant at West Cheshire College, added: “We were delighted Johnstone Howell & Co chose to host their seminar at the college as it brought together a number of small businesses from Ellesmere Port.”
