CHESTER Zoo is now to home to two more rhinos thanks to a local businessman.
But the animals in question aren’t real, living, breathing mammals – they are both made of fibreglass.
Andrew Donaldson, owner of self-storage company BiG Storage, picked up the pair at the auction after last year’s Rhino Mania art project.
He said: “I think this must be the first time a businessman has given a rhino to a zoo!
“But it’s great to see them back out in the public domain where everyone can enjoy them.”
The pair can be seen on the A41 on the approach to the zoo’s main entrance.
